What is CSManager?

CSManager is a free Counter-Strike team manager game. You run a team, not a single player. You start in a garage with an amateur roster. Your goal is to reach world-legend status. Every choice you make shapes the season.

Sign, scout and train your roster

Scout new players on the transfer market. Sign the talent your budget allows. Train your roster to raise skill and roles. Manage morale, condition and finances each week. A balanced five-player team wins more rounds.

Live every round in a 2D viewer

Each match plays out round by round. A simple 2D viewer shows every duel, plant and clutch. The score and economy reveal in step with the action. You feel the tension of a real Counter-Strike match.

Across the Counter-Strike eras

CSManager launches with two fully playable eras: the CS 1.6 golden age and the CS:GO esports boom. Pick your era when you start a career — each has its own maps, economy, teams and feel — or move a running 1.6 career into the CS:GO era between seasons. CS2 is next on the roadmap.

Free, offline and mobile-first

CSManager is 100% free and 100% offline. No account and no internet are needed to play. It is built mobile-first for phones and tablets. Your career saves locally on your device. Play it in any browser or add it to your home screen as a PWA.

FAQ

What kind of game is CSManager?
CSManager is a free Counter-Strike team manager game. You manage a team, you do not aim or shoot yourself. You sign players, train them, handle the money and call tactics. The goal is to climb from amateur to world legend.
Is CSManager free to play?
Yes. CSManager is free to play and has no pay-to-win. The full career mode runs offline.
Is CSManager an official Counter-Strike game?
No. CSManager is an independent, fan-made game. It is not affiliated with Valve or Counter-Strike.
Are the teams and players real?
No. The teams and players are original and fictional. A future update will add an editor to load custom data packs.
Do I control the aiming and shooting?
No. You make the manager calls: roster, training, money and round tactics. The engine resolves each duel from player skill, roles, economy and a bit of luck.
How does a match work?
A map is played round by round in a 2D viewer. Standard matches are first to 16, with a side swap at halftime. A tie goes to overtime.
What can I decide during a match?
Before each round you pick a tactic: Rush, Default, Eco, Force or Anti-eco. Each leans on different skills and costs a different amount. You also get a limited timeout and a star-player focus.
How does the in-game economy work?
Money comes from round wins, kills, bomb plants and a loss bonus. Buying weapons costs money, so eco and force-buy rounds are real choices. You see your exact money; the rival economy is only estimated from their buys.
What do player roles and attributes do?
Each player has a role: AWPer, entry fragger, IGL, support or lurker, plus five attributes: aim, reflexes, game sense, utility and composure. A balanced five that covers every role performs best. Stacking one role, like five AWPers, hurts the team.
What is career mode?
You take an amateur club up a five-tier ladder, from Amateur to International. Each season is an eight-team league played home and away. The top two are promoted and the bottom two are relegated.
How does training work?
Each week you train a player or run a team drill for small, gradual gains. Training builds fatigue, so you balance it with rest. You can save named training plans and let them run automatically.
Can I sign and scout players?
Yes. You scout and sign players on the transfer market within your budget. Signing resets some team chemistry, so keeping a stable lineup is rewarded.
Are there tournaments?
Yes. Each season has LAN events, including a season-ending Major. They are sixteen-team invitationals with a group stage and playoffs. Trophies and retired legends are kept in your palmares and Hall of Fame.
What are sponsors, the board and difficulty?
A sponsor and the board each set you a target every season. Miss it and you risk losing the sponsor or your job, which drops you to a smaller club. You choose easy, normal or hard when you start a career.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. CSManager is 100% offline. Your career is saved on your own device, across three save slots.
Can I play on mobile, and is there an app?
Yes, it is mobile-first. Play it in any browser, or add it to your home screen to play it like an app. Native Android and iOS apps are planned.
Which Counter-Strike eras are included?
Two eras are playable: CS 1.6 and CS:GO. You choose your era when you start a career, and a running 1.6 career can move into CS:GO. CS2 is on the roadmap and not playable yet.
What languages are supported?
Nine: English, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Turkish, German, Ukrainian, Danish and Chinese.
